It's 1996 and 4th grader, Cecil Stevens, is reminded of his terrible lisp every time he says his name. To avoid social travesty, Cecil decides to change his hard to pronounce name to the one and only, Michael Jordan.
Originally, I didn't like this movie that much, I found it rather boring and very overrated, until I watched it second time. Once again Spenser Fritz couldn't disappoint his viewers. The movies industry, can't really boast with a large number of better Comedy films. Cecil is a revelation in the cinema. It is an unbelievably vivid picture in which it cooks up from the subtexts, emotions and hidden pursuits.
